\We are looking for a reliable and motivated Computer Shop Helper to join our team in Iloilo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations in a computer shop, providing customer service, and ensuring that the store remains organized and well-maintained. The role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and a basic understanding of computers and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with their computer-related needs.
- Provide technical support for computer hardware and software issues (basic troubleshooting).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including computer stations and the surrounding area.
- Set up and configure computers for customer use.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the register.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of computer accessories, supplies, and other merchandise.
- Assist in installing, upgrading, and repairing computer equipment as needed.
- Provide basic information on services offered, such as repairs, software installation, and custom computer builds.
- Assist with opening and closing the shop as needed.
- Ensure that all computers and equipment are in proper working condition.
- Assist with promotional activities and customer engagement efforts.
- High school diploma or equivalent (College level is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of computers and related peripherals.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor computer problems (hardware/software).
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
Working Hours:
- Flexible hours, including weekends.
- Full-time and part-time positions available.
