Treasury Manager

The Treasury Manager will lead the financial resource management of the Company. The position will be the primary link between the local commercial and manufacturing hub and Headquarters, ensuring that liquidity, intercompany financing, and foreign exchange risks are managed in alignment with Group policies and compliant with the regulatory requirement in the Philippines.
Key Responsibilities:
Company Integration
- Intercompany Funding: Manage the movement of funds , including the structuring and settlement of intercompany loans.
- Regional Reporting: Prepare and present weekly/monthly liquidity reports and cash flow forecasts.
Cash & Liquidity Management
- Operational Cash Flow: Oversee daily cash positions to ensure sufficient liquidity for SBSP’s operations and capex investments.
- Bank Relationship Management: Primary point of contact for banking partners (local & international banks) to optimize credit lines and interest rates including annual credit review ensuring ongoing compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Collection: Daily monitoring of cash inflows received from customers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investment: Manage excess fund in high-yield instruments
Financial Risk & Compliance
- FX Risk Management: Management of PHP/USD currency exposure and recommend hedging strategies or instruments
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all treasury activities adhere to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulations, particularly regarding foreign payments, fund transfers and investments.
- Internal Controls: Maintain a robust control environment to prevent fraud and ensure the security of electronic banking platforms.
Strategic Support
- Expansion Financing: Provide treasury support for future capital expenditures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Minimum of 5 years in treasury and finance environments, knowledge of banking products is required
- Strong understanding of the Philippine banking system and BSP reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP system (i.e., SAP)
- Good communication skills
