The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a resourceful, organized, and caring Home Health Scheduler with mid-level experience for a full-time role. This position plays a key role in managing and organizing our patient care schedules, liaising between patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, and ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage patient schedules for home health services.
• Liaise between nurses, physicians, and therapists to set up patient schedules.
• Manage cancellations or schedule changes and promptly communicate with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor patient progress and update the schedule as requested by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Home Health Scheduler or similar role in healthcare industry.
• Ability to manage stressful situations and multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of medical terminologies and multi-line phone systems.
• Proficiency in electronic health record software.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) or similar certification.
• Experience using scheduling software specific to home healthcare agencies.
• Experience in a medical office setting.
• Bilingual: Spanish-speaking is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
