Virtual Assistant – Data Quality and Customer Support
Hours: 1 - 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Location: Remote
Working pattern: Flexible – the work can be completed at a time that suits you each day
About the role
Breckmarsh Gundogs is looking for a reliable and highly organised Virtual Assistant to support the day-to-day management of our app and customer administration.
A key part of the role will be manually checking data that is automatically pulled into the Breckmarsh Gundogs app. You will follow a clear process to confirm that the information is complete, accurate and displayed correctly, identifying and reporting anything that needs attention.
You will also help manage customer enquiries, maintain our customer database and keep our customer email lists accurate and up to date.
This role would suit someone who enjoys structured, process-driven work, has exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in keeping information organised and accurate.
Key responsibilities
- Manually check data being pulled into the Breckmarsh Gundogs app
- Follow a defined daily checking process
- Identify missing, duplicated or inaccurate information
- Correct straightforward issues where appropriate
- Record and report problems that require further investigation
- Monitor and respond to customer enquiries
- Escalate enquiries when input or approval is required
- Maintain accurate customer records within the database
- Add, update and organise customer contact information
- Manage customer email lists, including new subscribers, updates and removals
- Help ensure customer data is handled accurately and confidentially
- Keep clear records of completed checks, outstanding issues and customer follow-ups

Previous virtual assistant, data administration or customer service experience would be helpful, but reliability, accuracy and a willingness to learn are most important.
Hours and flexibility
The role requires approximately one to two hours per day, five days per week . The work can be completed remotely at a time that suits you, provided the daily checks and agreed customer administration tasks are completed consistently.
There may be an opportunity for the role and hours to grow as the Breckmarsh Gundogs app and customer base develop.
