Position: Mandarin Lawyer Industry: BPO Company Location: Makati City Schedule: Dayshift Schedule Salary: Php 120,000-Php 130,000 Work Set-up: Work On-site

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
- Open to Filipino and Filipino-Chinese candidates who are fluent in reading, writing, and speaking both Mandarin and English.
- Must be a licensed attorney in at least one jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in the related field.
- Preferably with 1–4 years of experience in commercial contract drafting and review.
- Strong ability to multitask, organize, plan, and prioritize tasks, including monitoring processes, deliverables, and related documentation.
- Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly and accurately analyze information, assess issues, and make sound decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment and open to peer review processes.
- Proficient in using computers and business tools, including CLM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial contracts (e.g., NDA, MSA, SOW, licensing agreements).
- Perform contract abstraction by extracting key legal terms, clauses, and obligations.
- Identify legal risks, inconsistencies, and compliance issues within contracts.
- Ensure all documents comply with client requirements and legal standards.
- Translate and interpret legal documents between Mandarin and English when required.
- Maintain accurate legal records and update contract management systems.
- Support contract lifecycle management and legal operations processes.
- Collaborate with global legal teams and stakeholders across different regions.
- Assist in legal projects such as contract migration, audits, and due diligence.
