Role: Social Media and Paid Ads Specialist (Part-time)

Compensation: Competitive Basic Salary

Work Schedule: 2 Days per week, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Philippine Time

Work Setup: Work from Home

We are looking for a highly skilled Social Media and Paid Ads Specialist to manage and grow our presence across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, and related platforms. All apps, tools and integrations are already set up — including Meta Business Manager, Meta Pixel, Shopify, Klaviyo and ManyChat. This is a pure performance and growth role. You will take content that Mia creates and films, transform it into high-performing ads and posts, run and optimise our Meta ad campaigns, and grow our Instagram following with a proven strategy.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of running profitable Meta ad campaigns for ecommerce brands and growing Instagram accounts with real, engaged followers. All platforms are set up and ready — we need someone who can hit the ground running and deliver results from week one.

Responsibilities:

PAID ADVERTISING — META (PRIMARY FOCUS)

• Set up, manage and optimize Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns in Meta Ads Manager
• Take raw content sent by Mia — videos, photos, voice notes — and build them into polished, high-performing ad creatives
• Write compelling ad copy in an Australian English, warm, OT-authority tone
• Set up campaign structures correctly — campaign, ad set and ad level — with the right objectives, audiences and budgets
• Create and manage custom audiences and lookalike audiences based on website visitors, purchasers and engagement
• Monitor campaign performance daily — CTR, ROAS, CPM, CPC, frequency — and make data-driven optimization decisions
• A/B test ad creatives, copy, audiences and placements
• Scale winning campaigns by increasing budgets systematically — following the 20% rule
• Set up and manage retargeting campaigns for website visitors and abandoned carts
• Produce weekly performance reports with clear insights and recommendations

ORGANIC SOCIAL MEDIA — INSTAGRAM, FACEBOOK AND TIKTOK

• Transform Mia's raw videos and photos into polished Instagram Reels, TikTok videos and Facebook posts
• Use AI tools — including CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI and other tools — to enhance video quality, add captions, create graphics and improve overall content presentation
• Write engaging captions in Mia's voice — warm, knowledgeable, OT-authority, Australian English
• Design eye-catching static posts, carousels and story graphics using Canva or equivalent
• Schedule and publish content consistently — daily posting across all platforms is required as a minimum. Content must go out every single day without exception
• Manage the content calendar and ensure posts go out at optimal times for the Australian audience
• Monitor comments and DMs and flag priority responses to Mia
• Research trending audio, hashtags and content formats relevant to our niche
• Create a daily content mix across all platforms — written posts, static image graphics and video content. All three formats are required every week, not just one type
• Actively engage with the audience every day — responding to comments, replying to DMs, liking and commenting on relevant accounts, and building genuine community connection
• Plan and execute giveaways and engagement campaigns across Instagram and Facebook — from concept through to execution, based on ideas from Mia
• Take growth ideas from Mia and execute them fully — Mia provides the direction and ideas, you make them happen across all platforms with speed and creativity
• Proactively bring your own growth ideas to Mia for approval — trending formats, collaboration opportunities, viral content concepts relevant to our niche
• Track follower growth, engagement rate and reach weekly across all platforms and report to Mia with clear numbers and what is working
• Implement ManyChat keyword automations on Instagram to drive lead generation

CONTENT CREATION USING AI

• Use AI tools to dramatically improve the quality of raw content sent by Mia
• Generate AI-enhanced thumbnail images, product lifestyle images and graphic overlays
• Use AI caption and copywriting tools to create scroll-stopping hooks and engaging post copy
• Stay up to date with the latest AI content tools and proactively suggest new approaches
• Create product mockups and visual assets for own-brand products using AI image tools

PERFORMANCE MONITORING AND REPORTING

• Ensure all paid traffic lands on correctly optimized product and collection pages
• Work with the Shopify developer to ensure pixel tracking and conversion events are firing correctly
• Monitor Google Analytics and Meta Events Manager to ensure data accuracy
• Coordinate product launches — Meta ad campaigns, Instagram content rollout and performance tracking. All tools are already connected and ready to use

Role Requirements:

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience managing Meta paid advertising for ecommerce brands — with results to prove it. No setup required, all platforms are live and ready
• Proven Instagram growth track record — able to show accounts you have grown from small to significant followings with real, engaged audiences. Numbers and screenshots required
• Expert-level knowledge of Meta Business Manager and Meta Ads Manager
• Strong video editing skills — able to take raw footage and create polished, professional Reels and TikToks
• Proficient with AI content tools — CapCut AI, Canva AI, ChatGPT for copywriting, and equivalent
• Excellent written English — able to write in a warm, professional, Australian English tone
• Strong understanding of ecommerce metrics — ROAS, CTR, CPM, CPC, AOV, conversion rate
• Experience with TikTok content creation and TikTok ads
• Highly organized, self-directed and able to manage multiple tasks without close supervision
• Reliable fast internet connection and professional remote work setup

Highly Desirable

• Experience in the children's products, health, wellness or parenting niche
• Experience running Instagram growth strategies — hashtag research, engagement tactics, collaboration outreach, Reels growth
• Experience with Klaviyo email marketing
• Experience with ManyChat keyword automations — already set up, needs managing and optimizing
• Experience with Google Shopping and Google Ads
• Knowledge of Pinterest marketing
• Experience creating content for a founder-led, personal brand
