Store Manager (Vision Express Shangri-La Plaza)

As part of this, we are looking for a  Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales performance, and deliver exceptional customer experience across our retail stores.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a customer-first mindset, and solid experience in retail operations, sales management, and team development.

Job Summary

Lead the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring strong sales performance, operational excellence, inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, and team productivity while maintaining Vision Express brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to be assigned to  Vision Express Shangri-La Plaza. 

• Available to start ASAP.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in retail operations and store management, preferably from the optical retail industry.

• Strong understanding of  retail operations, inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.

• Strong sales management skills with the ability to drive revenue and achieve store targets.

• Experience handling store operations, team management, and customer concerns in a retail environment.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.

• Familiarity with  POS systems, retail management systems, and basic computer applications.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Customer-oriented with a strong commitment to service excellence.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

• Drive store sales and achieve revenue targets through strong customer engagement and operational execution.

• Promote and recommend eyewear products and services based on customer needs.

• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and order updates promptly.

• Implement strategies to improve customer retention, loyalty, and overall customer experience.

Store Operations & Inventory Management

• Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and store cleanliness.

• Monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, and inventory accuracy.

• Conduct inventory audits and ensure proper product availability and merchandising.

• Ensure all equipment and store facilities are properly maintained and functional.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and safety guidelines.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, train, coach, and motivate store personnel to achieve high performance.

• Conduct regular team huddles, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.

• Ensure store teams are knowledgeable about products, sales techniques, and customer service standards.

• Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.

Financial & Business Management

• Analyze store sales performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

• Monitor expenses and recommend initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

• Support implementation of promotional activities and business-driving initiatives.

• Track KPIs related to sales, customer service, inventory management, and digitalization.

Marketing & Visual Merchandising

• Ensure the store consistently meets visual merchandising and brand presentation standards.

• Execute in-store promotions, displays, and local marketing initiatives.

• Monitor competitor activities and local market trends to remain competitive.
