- Cost estimating:
- Develop detailed cost breakdowns for projects based on project specifications, material quantities, labor rates, and other relevant factors.
- Prepare accurate project budgets and cost forecasts.
- Analyze market trends and cost drivers to inform estimations.
- Cost control:
- Monitor project expenditures against the approved budget.
- Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
- Track and analyze cost variances to understand deviations from the budget.
- Project planning:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and resource allocation plans.
- Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies related to project costs
- Reporting and analysis:
- Generate regular cost reports for stakeholders, highlighting key cost trends and issues.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis to evaluate project alternatives
- Provide insights to inform decision-making on cost optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in cost estimating software and project management tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of construction practices and industry standards
- Knowledge of financial principles and budgeting techniques

Salary: 20k to 23k
