Professional Services Engineer

Applicants should be knowledgeable in network management and administration, computer hardware troubleshooting and repair, software installation and configuration, database management (such as MySQL and SQL Server), database programming, server administration, cybersecurity fundamentals, and Microsoft Windows environments, with CCTV and Bionomic System Management being preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the capacity to work under pressure, the ability to handle multiple skills, and a willingness to render overtime when necessary are also essential. Preferred (but not required) qualifications include experience in the manufacturing or pharmaceutical industries, as well as familiarity with ERP systems, Inventory IT, and HRIS.

The core duties and responsibilities for this role involve managing and maintaining company network infrastructure (including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and Internet connectivity), as well as installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware and peripherals. The IT Officer will provide technical support to employees regarding software and network-related concerns, perform preventive maintenance, and regularly monitor and maintain system inspections. Additionally, the role requires developing and modifying servers, data storage, backups, and security systems, implementing cybersecurity measures, monitoring potential threats, and managing user accounts, email systems, and access permissions. The successful candidate will also coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related concerns and maintain proper documentation of IT assets, licenses, and technical procedures.
