Procurement Officer

- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best quality and pricing for materials, equipment, and services.
- Prepare, process, and follow up on purchase orders in accordance with company policies and project requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely availability of materials for ongoing projects.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, price lists, contracts, and procurement records accurately.
- Analyze quotations and supplier proposals to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Ensure all purchased goods comply with quality standards and project specifications.
- Assist in budget preparation, monitor procurement expenses, and contribute to cost control initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including technical, project management, and finance, to streamline procurement processes.
- Support vendor audits, supplier evaluations, and performance reviews.
- Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and innovative procurement strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or any related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 1 year experience in purchasing or procurement ; fresh graduates with strong knowledge or interest in procurement are welcome to apply.
- Advanced understanding of purchasing processes, supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and procurement documentation.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (Odoo or similar) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procurement tools, technologies, and supplier management practices.
