Accounting Manager

PB Resource Solutions Corporation is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and lead the accounting team.

Work Location: Makati City — On-site

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday

Responsibilities

• Supervise the accounting team and review records for accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing and prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee the accurate and timely preparation and submission of BIR tax returns and other required reports.
• Review payroll computations, expenses, reimbursements, supplier payments, and supporting documents.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and project expenses, and explain significant variances to management.
• Maintain organized accounting records and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Provide financial information and recommendations to support management decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, applicable accounting standards, and financial reporting.
• Experience in general accounting, financial statement preparation, and month-end closing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in construction, project accounting, or accounting for multiple companies is an advantage.
• Willing to work on-site in Makati City, Monday to Saturday.
