About the role
Masterbatch Philippines Inc. is seeking a talented Production Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team in our North Caloocan, Metro Manila facility. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our state-of-the-art production equipment, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and productivity. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing company.
This position is open to Philippine citizens only.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes to optimise the performance and lifespan of production machinery
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Coordinate and oversee the maintenance activities of the production team, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with the production and quality assurance teams to identify and address any process-related challenges
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance data
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our production processes and systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Candidates must hold specifically an Electrical Engineering degree; other engineering disciplines will not be considered for this role
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a production maintenance engineering role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Candidates must have exactly 2 years of maintenance engineering experience to meet the minimum requirement for this position
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
- Must be proficient in using Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Proven track record of successful equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
- Has deep knowledge in servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, gearbox, pumps and production-related equipment.
- Ability to work independently, efficiently and swiftly with minimal supervision.
- Previous experienced in plastic of rubber Extruder operation is considered an advantaged.
