Bookkeeper & Financial Reporting Specialist

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Perform regular bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all financial activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and support external financial reports for banks, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing financial statements for internal (managerial) purposes using AI- supported tools.
- Coordinate with management to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
- Preferred: At least 5 years of work experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience preparing financial statements for external stakeholders (e.g., banks, regulators).
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets is important.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
