Multimedia Arts/Communication Intern

About the Role

The Sustainability School Intern will support the design and development of training modules under the SM Sustainability School. This role is ideal for someone interested in digital content creation, with a strong ability to translate complex topics into engaging, easy-to-understand learning materials.

You will work closely with the Sustainability School team to produce high-quality, concise, and visually engaging modules for SM employees across the group.

Responsibilities

Content Development

• Draft storyboards for short training modules
• Source and curate appropriate videos, images, and other multimedia assets to support learning objectives (ensuring proper usage rights and alignment with content)

Multimedia Design & Production

• Design and produce complete training modules, integrating scripts, visuals, and multimedia into a cohesive learning experience
• Create infographic-style slides, visual aids, and on-screen learning elements
• Ensure modules are concise, engaging, and aligned with defined learning objectives
• Assemble and format modules into ready-for-upload e-learning format (Moodle)
• Support video production needs if needed
• Develop Electronic Direct Mailers for course launches, announcements, and engagement campaigns if and when needed

Qualifications

• Basic video editing skills
• Video module editing and production is preferred
• Graphic design or content creation experience
• Proficiency in current multimedia production programs such as Canva and others
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
