Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Broadcasting, English, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in content writing, copywriting, communications, journalism, or a related role
- Strong English communication skills , both written and verbal
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills
- Able to create content for different audiences and platforms
- Able to write social media posts, LinkedIn content, articles, captions, and video scripts
- Creative and able to develop content ideas, hooks, angles, and storylines
- Able to turn complex topics and research into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand content
- Willing to research industry trends, audience behavior, and relevant topics
- Able to adjust writing style, tone, and messaging based on the target audience
- Portfolio or samples of written work are required
Responsibilities
• Create engaging content for social media, websites, and marketing materials
• Research topics and create fresh content ideas
• Edit and proofread written materials
• Ensure content follows Metacom’s brand voice and messaging
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Creative teams
• Support content and campaign initiatives
