Panel Saw Operator

The Panel Saw Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the panel saw machine to accurately cut wood panels, boards, and other materials according to production specifications. This role ensures precision, safety, and efficiency in all cutting operations while maintaining high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Operate panel saw machines in accordance with company safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.

• Read and interpret cutting lists, technical drawings, and measurements.

• Set up the panel saw to cut materials to required sizes and specifications.

• Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting.

• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

• Coordinate with production team members to meet daily output targets.

• Report any machine issues, material shortages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.

• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• Experience operating panel saws or similar cutting machinery preferred.

• Basic knowledge of woodworking or cabinet manufacturing processes is an advantage.

• Ability to read measurements accurately and interpret basic technical drawings.

• Physically fit and able to lift materials as required.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment.
