- Involved in setting up/buy-off, adjusting, preventive/corrective maintenance and optimizing SMT machines and processes to achieve desired production outcomes.
- Troubleshoot problems that may arise during the SMT process, ensuring the continuous flow of production.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the SMT process, such as optimizing machine settings reducing rejection rates, and enhancing overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Document processes and procedures related to SMT assembly, ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with other engineers, operators and management to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration.
- Basic technical Knowledge of SMT machines or willingness to learn.
- Physical stamina as the role often involves standing or repetitive tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
