About the role

Operating in a fast-paced environment, this role requires high computer literacy and strong administrative, clerical, and data entry skills. The Specialist will manage multiple distinct operational processes, demonstrate strong multitasking capabilities, learn a suite of software tools, and maintain high process flexibility to jump between tasks seamlessly based on operational demand. Strict attention to detail, rapid typing speed with high accuracy, exceptional communication, and dependable attendance are critical to success.  

About the team

The Service Specialist I position is designed to be an integral part of the Operations – Business Services Teams. This position focuses on providing level-one support for customers by focusing on continuous improvement, efficiency, and providing a consistent level of service for customers and support for the Operations – Business Services Teams .  

What will you be doing?

• Administrative, Clerical & Data Entry: Perform daily clerical tasks, precise data entry, ticket routing, and record management across internal operations databases with zero-to-minimal errors.  

• Multi-Process Execution: Master and execute multiple core operational processes (e.g., tracking, issue resolution, customer inquiry routing, carrier communication) while maintaining high accuracy and service levels.  

• Task & Process Flexibility: Pivot and shift rapidly between different processes as real-time volume demands change, ensuring balanced support across the Operations – Business Services Teams .  

• High-Volume Multitasking & Typing: Efficiently input data and handle multiple tasks, ticket threads, and active workflows concurrently using fast and accurate typing skills.  

• Tool & Computer Literacy: Demonstrate proficiency across internal software tools, Microsoft Office applications, and Salesforce to navigate digital workflows efficiently.  

• Attention to Detail: Ensure rigorous quality control and accuracy in data entry, customer logs, system updates, and task resolution to prevent service disruptions.  

• Communication & Support: Maintain clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication daily with customers, internal teams, and carrier partners using proper Salesforce macros, templates, and flows.  

• Time Management & Show Rate: Maintain dependable attendance and exercise effective time management and organization to meet daily operational schedule demands.  

What are we looking for?

• Education: High School Diploma required .  

• Experience: 1+ years of administrative, clerical, data entry, or internal operations experience.

• Computer & Tech Literacy: Strong proficiency in navigating multiple computer applications, internal systems, Microsoft Office programs, and Salesforce platforms.  

• Administrative & Clerical Expertise: Proven experience in administrative duties, high-volume data entry, document control, and record maintenance.  

• Process Flexibility & Agility: Ability to switch priorities and workflows fluidly on short notice across different operational processes.  

• Multitasking & Time Management: Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadline expectations, and multitask effectively within individual processes.  

• Attention to Detail: High level of precision in reviewing data, entering records, and following procedural guidelines.  

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for daily interaction with internal teams, carriers, and clients.  

• Show Rate & Reliability: Excellent track record of punctual attendance, dependability, and adherence to work schedules.
