A Cleaner - Helper assists in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within a facility or work environment. They support cleaning staff by performing various tasks to ensure areas are neat, hygienic, and presentable.
Cleaning Support: Assist in cleaning and sanitizing designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and offices.
- Waste Management: Help collect and dispose of trash, ensuring proper segregation and disposal methods.
- Supplies Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Basic Maintenance: Perform light maintenance tasks, such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, or replenishing stock of hygiene products.
- Assist with Special Tasks: Support cleaners in deep cleaning, event setups, or seasonal cleaning activities.
- Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Reporting Issues: Report any damaged or broken equipment, or any areas needing special attention to the supervisor.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure thorough and consistent cleaning in all areas.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual tasks and stand or walk for long periods.
- Team Player: Willing to work collaboratively with other cleaning staff and supervisors.
- Dependability: Show up on time and complete tasks efficiently and consistently.
- Adaptability: Able to handle changes in work duties or priorities as needed.
- Good Communication: Ability to follow instructions and report any issues effectively.
- Time Management: Capable of completing tasks within specified time frames.
