Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and SAP Transportation Management (TM). The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end SAP supply chain solution implementations, optimize logistics processes, and work closely with clients across various industries. This role requires a strong functional background, hands-on configuration experience, and the flexibility to travel and work onsite with clients as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full-cycle SAP EWM and TM implementations, upgrades, and support projects.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions, focusing on warehouse and transportation processes.
- Configure SAP EWM and TM modules to meet client-specific needs, including inbound/outbound processes, warehouse structure, transportation planning, and freight settlement.
- Collaborate with business users, developers, and other consultants to design and deliver integrated solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices, process improvements, and system optimization.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to client teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in SAP EWM and TM environments.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP innovations, particularly in S/4HANA and embedded EWM/TM.
- Travel to client sites and work onsite as required (up to 50–75% travel depending on project needs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 6–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM and TM.
- Proven experience in at least 2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP EWM and/or TM.
- Strong understanding of logistics execution, warehouse operations, and transportation planning.
- Experience with S/4HANA embedded EWM and TM is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with integration points between EWM, TM, MM, SD, and other SAP modules.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
- SAP certification in EWM or TM is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel and work onsite with clients.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with RF framework, Yard Management, and Material Flow System (MFS).
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to EWM/TM.
- Exposure to Agile project methodologies.
- Ability to lead teams and mentor junior consultants.
