Key Responsibilities
Lead & Coordinate the Accounting Team
- Supervise accounting assistants and encoders to ensure accurate and timely output
- Provide guidance, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet deadlines
- Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
Ensure Financial Accuracy & Timely Compliance
- Preparation of BIR filings (Forms 1601, 2550, 1702, Alpha list, and related submissions)
- Preparation of trial balance and Income Tax Return (ITR)
- Ensure adherence to Philippine accounting standards and tax regulations
Optimize Operations
- Monitor daily accounting processes and resolve discrepancies
- Work closely with the Accounting Head to clear backlogs and meet reporting timelines
- Suggest workflow improvements to enhance team productivity
- Monitor cash position, payments, and collections to maintain healthy cash flow
Support ERP & Systems Implementation
- Coordinate with the team to ensure proper use of accounting software and systems
- Help integrate improved reporting processes into ERP tools
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA a plus but not required
- At least 3–5 years in accounting, with experience in compliance and supervisory work
- Strong review and verification skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR reporting, proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Good communicator and problem-solver, able to work with minimal supervision
- Organized and methodical approach to managing multiple tasks.
