Warehouse Manager Assistant

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting in the daily, hands-on management of warehouse activities (inbound, outbound, inventory) to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations.
- Leading stock counts, cycle counts, and physical inventories to ensure accurate inventory levels and proper stock rotation
- Assigning tasks to warehouse personnel, supervising daily performance, and identifying training needs or coaching opportunities.
- Enforcing safety protocols, conducting safety checks, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment (5S standards).
- Identifying inefficiencies in workflow and implementing process improvements or digitalization initiatives.
- Preparing and analyzing reports regarding inventory discrepancies, productivity metrics, and equipment maintenance, often using warehouse management software.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–4 years in warehouse operations, with previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or senior staff.
- Strong ability to supervise, coach, and delegate tasks to personnel.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
- Ability to solve operational issues quickly.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
