Marketing Intern

As part of our international team, you'll gain hands-on experience with website management, multilingual content, AI-powered tools, and digital marketing. You'll contribute directly to improving PRLab's online presence while learning practical skills that are increasingly valuable in modern marketing.

We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Marketing Intern to help maintain, update, and optimise PRLab's website, with a particular focus on WordPress, multilingual content, and AI-assisted translations.

Your main responsibilities will involve making website corrections, updating existing pages, reviewing translated content, and ensuring that our website remains accurate, consistent, and properly structured across different languages.

You'll work closely with our marketing and SEO team to implement content improvements, identify issues, and support the expansion of our international website.

You may also have the opportunity to assist with Reddit community management and other digital marketing initiatives.

You don't need to be an SEO expert or have extensive WordPress experience. We're primarily looking for someone who is comfortable working with digital tools, pays close attention to detail, and is willing to learn. Basic SEO knowledge and previous WordPress experience are appreciated but not required.

• WordPress Website Updates: Make corrections and updates to existing website pages, including text, headings, links, formatting, and other content elements using WordPress.
• Multilingual Content Management: Help maintain and improve the consistency, accuracy, and structure of our website across multiple languages.
• AI-Assisted Translations: Use AI-powered translation tools to help translate website content, review translations, identify errors, and make corrections where needed.
• SEO-Related Website Corrections: Implement content updates based on instructions from the SEO team, including improving headings, page titles, meta descriptions, internal links, and content structure.
• Website Quality Assurance: Review website pages to identify broken links, formatting problems, untranslated sections, inconsistent content, and other issues affecting the user experience.
• Content Optimisation: Help improve existing blog posts, landing pages, and service pages by implementing editorial and structural corrections.
• Reddit Management (Potential Responsibility): Support PRLab's presence on Reddit by researching relevant communities, monitoring discussions, and contributing helpful, authentic responses where appropriate.
• AI Tools & Workflow Support: Experiment with AI-powered tools to streamline translations, content updates, and website maintenance tasks.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the marketing team, follow task instructions, track completed updates, and communicate issues or opportunities for improvement.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Languages, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Strong English communication skills, particularly in reading, writing, and editing website content.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and formatting issues.
• Comfortable working with online platforms and digital tools, with a willingness to learn new systems.
• Interest in website management, digital marketing, content optimisation, or AI-powered technologies.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and implement website changes independently after initial guidance.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple small tasks efficiently.
• A proactive, reliable attitude and willingness to ask questions when something is unclear.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with an international team.
• WordPress experience is a plus, but not required.
• Basic SEO knowledge is appreciated, but not required.
• Experience with AI translation tools, such as DeepL, ChatGPT, or similar platforms, is a plus.
• Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage, particularly for reviewing translated website content.
• Familiarity with Reddit and its communities is a plus.

The recruitment process begins with a short practical assignment designed to assess your attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and approach to website content management. No advanced technical or SEO knowledge will be required.

Successful candidates will then be invited to a screening interview.

If there's a potential match, the Hiring Manager will reach out to discuss the role in more detail. Depending on the position, the process may include a final interview with the CEO.

Successful candidates will receive their contract, followed by a structured onboarding process supported by our HR and Operations teams. We'll help you become familiar with WordPress, our translation workflows, and the tools you'll use during your internship.
