Software Engineering Consultant - SAP MM Inventory Management

We are seeking a Custom Software Engineering Consultant who will help shape the technical vision and architecture of custom software projects. The role focuses on overseeing solution design and implementation, ensuring high‑quality, scalable, and efficient development. You will work closely with SAP and non‑SAP teams, contribute to key technical decisions, and ensure solutions align with business goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Act as an SME and collaborate with internal teams and client IT/business stakeholders.
- Work with SAP and non‑SAP teams to support major technical and functional decisions.
- Provide solutions to technical challenges across multiple teams.
- Ensure strong communication and coordination to meet project milestones.
- Support continuous improvement of development processes and product quality.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Expert proficiency in SAP Inventory Management (IM) and Warehouse Management (WM) .
- Hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA IM/WM implementations (brownfield or greenfield).
- Minimum 2 full end‑to‑end implementation cycles .
- Strong knowledge of inventory processes and ERP system integration.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience designing, configuring, and customizing SAP modules for optimized inventory and warehouse workflows.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Experience with SAP AIF (Application Interface Framework) .
- Good to have: Experience with Camunda or other automation tools.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 5 years of SAP S/4 implementation experience across SAP IM, WM, and EWM .
- Minimum 2 full-cycle IM/WM implementation projects.
