MEP Design Engineer - Plumbing (PHE)

**About the Role**
This is a **plumbing and fire-fighting design role** — not general MEP and not HVAC. If your background is plumbing/PHE with no HVAC, that’s perfectly fine. What matters is **4+ years of experience** designing plumbing and fire-fighting systems for residential and commercial buildings, and the ability to perform the **calculations behind the design**: hydraulic calculations, water demand and tank sizing, and pipe sizing across the system.
This is not a drafting role. You will function as a **full design engineer**, owning the analysis and producing complete designs. AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM 360 are required, and **clash detection/resolution** is a core responsibility.
**What You’ll Do**
* Design plumbing and fire-fighting systems end-to-end for hotels, schools, restaurants, and fitness clubs
* Perform hydraulic calculations for water supply, drainage, and sprinkler systems
* Conduct water demand and tank capacity sizing
* Execute pipe sizing calculations across the system
* Develop layouts, schematics, and 3D models in **AutoCAD 2020**, **Revit MEP 2020**, and **BIM 360**
* **Actively participate in BIM 360 coordination, resolving multidisciplinary clashes**
* **Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and complete project documentation**
* **Ensure compliance with codes, project specifications, and engineering standards**
**Must-Haves**
* 4+ years of professional experience in Plumbing (PHE) and Fire-Fighting design
* Expertise in plumbing system design and fire-fighting systems (fire pump, hydrant, sprinkler)
* Strong background in hydraulic calculations, water demand, and tank sizing
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 2020, Revit MEP 2020, BIM 360
* Experience in BOQ preparation, multidisciplinary coordination, and clash detection
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
**Nice-to-Haves**
* Knowledge of **SketchUp** or **STAAD.Pro**
* **Experience with hotel, school, restaurant, or fitness club projects**
