Position: Jr. System Engineer
Industry: IT/BPO
Location: Makati City, Metro Manila
Schedule: Full-time, Shifting
Compensation: Php 25,000–35,000 gross
Work Arrangement: On-site
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- Hands-on knowledge of Linux hosting tools (Apache, NGINX, SSL, DNS, MySQL)
- Basic PHP and automation scripting skills
- Familiarity with virtualization and container technologies across cloud platforms
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer support or web hosting environments (cPanel, Plesk, WordPress, domain/email management)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions following best practices
- Manage Linux and Windows servers ensuring security, backup, and high availability
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues in collaboration with development teams
- Create automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
- Maintain technical documentation and IT knowledge resources
