Job description: About the role WE ARE HIRING FOR OUR EXPANSION PLANS IN 2026 and are seeking an experienced Senior Purchasing Officer to join the procurement team at Copylandia Office Systems Corporation, a leading provider of office equipment and supplies. This full-time position is based in our Mandaluyong City office and will be responsible for managing all import and local purchasing activities. What you'll be doing
- Oversee the entire import process and local purchases, including identifying suppliers, negotiating terms, and coordinating logistics
- Manage local procurement of office supplies, equipment and other materials to support daily operations
- Analyse market trends, supplier performance and pricing to optimise purchasing decisions
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and continuously identify new potential partners
- Implement robust inventory control systems to ensure adequate stock levels and minimise wastage
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, logistics and other departments to align purchasing activities
- Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant regulations
- Mentor and provide guidance to more junior members of the procurement team
- Minimum 8 years' experience in purchasing, procurement or a related role, preferably within the manufacturing, logistics or similar industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing import and local purchasing operations
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Proficient in data analysis, inventory management and cost optimisation
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to align purchasing strategies with business objectives
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant procurement regulations and policies
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
- Can work from Mondays through Saturdays
- Can start immediately
