Head Cook/Chef (Zambales)

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team.

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals while adhering to food safety and cleanliness standards. You should have a passion for food, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all food is cooked and served in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper handling of food items.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols to prevent contamination and ensure food quality.
• Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to coordinate meal preparation.
• Handle food ingredients and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Manage inventory and restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Maintain proper food storage techniques and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality food consistently.
• Assist in menu planning, suggesting new dishes, and optimizing food offerings.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

• A graduate of HRM/ Relevant training or Related Courses
• Previous experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for food preparation.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction when necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of a variety of cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy items.

• Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and fast-paced environment.
