Finance Assistant (AFS/Tax)

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Support
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist in monitoring payables and receivables
AFS & Compliance
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of Audited Financial Statements (AFS)
- Coordinate with external auditors during audit periods
- Prepare schedules and supporting documents for audits
- Ensure proper filing and organization of compliance records
Taxation
- Assist in preparation and filing of tax returns (VAT, Withholding Tax, Income Tax, etc.)
- Monitor tax deadlines and compliance requirements
- Prepare tax schedules and reconciliations
- Coordinate with accounting/finance leads on tax matters
Administrative & Reporting
- Maintain finance-related trackers and reports
- Assist with government and regulatory documentation
- Perform other finance and accounting duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance , or related field
- Experience with AFS preparation and Philippine tax compliance preferred
- Familiarity with BIR processes and documentation is an advantage
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
- Experience with accounting systems is a plus
