What you'll be doing
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for more complex repairs or installations
- Ensure all facilities meet relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and asset condition
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a facilities technician or in a similar maintenance role
- Strong technical skills and working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Proficient in the use of tools and equipment required for maintenance and repair work
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues
- Excellent time management and organization skills to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
