Azure Data Engineer
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions within a modern cloud ecosystem. This role focuses on developing robust data pipelines and enabling data-driven decision-making through reliable, high-quality data platforms.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure services
Build and manage data solutions leveraging Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and Fabric
Architect and maintain data storage solutions (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Blob Storage)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, Analysts, Architects) to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
Implement data quality frameworks, validation processes, and monitoring mechanisms
Manage CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows
Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline and data-related issues
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and best practices
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Azure data services (ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Fabric)
Solid experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development
Expertise in data modeling and distributed data systems
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala)
Experience with big data processing frameworks
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
Strong understanding of data governance, quality, and security principles
Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration skills
