Licensing Associate

Job Summary

As the Licensing Associate, your responsibility is to provide assistance to the Unit Lead in

processing licenses of new recruits and old intermediaries, communicating intermediary codes, reviewing the completeness of documents for agent's applications, ensuring accuracy of information encoded in the system in accordance with the Insurance Commission’s (IC) policies and guidelines and the Company’s agreed service level standards, updating the intermediary system including movements and assignments of intermediaries and providing new recruits with on-boarding kits.

Responsibilities:

Processing of Distributor's license with the Insurance commission

• Set priorities and ensures processing of licensing requirements for new application are completed on time
• Acts as Processor - prescreener and encoder
• Validates the timely and accurate creation of updating Distributor’s records in the system

Pre-screening stage, initial checking of submitted documents (JOTFORM) including

completeness and accuracy.

• Encoding the information required for new recruits for coding to the Agents' database (IC's ELS and DMS)
• Effecting endorsement for coding, new team/branch assignments in the system on time, Keep files of agents' documents.
• Prepares all licensing related reports (e.g manpower count, recruitment, total active agents, dashboard)

Registration in IC ELS and Uploading documents in IC ELS

• Process clearances of new recruits or terminated agents coordinating with other
• company, Units internally for any recorded accountabilities
• Coordinate with other companies and with IC for clearances & cancellation of
• new recruits before they get coded
• Ensure issuance of code on a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any 4-year course.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in licensing, handling/liaising with the insurance commission
• Possesses interpersonal communication skills and good public relations to maintain satisfactory customer service and effective coordination with other parties
• Should be flexible and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and result-oriented
• Computer skills (MS office proficiency)
• Preferably with LOMA certification
• Experience with AI-driven adaptive learning technologies and data analysis for personalized training.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for content recommendation, automated assessment, and feedback.
