Role Overview
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for technology and IT-related positions. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, engaging, and endorsing qualified technical professionals while delivering an excellent candidate experience and supporting business hiring objectives.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, and capable of managing multiple technical requisitions in a fast-paced recruitment environment while building strong talent pipelines across various technology domains.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Sourcing
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and IT roles, from sourcing through onboarding support.
- Source and attract qualified candidates through multiple recruitment channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and internal talent databases.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of technical professionals for current and future hiring requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to evaluate technical experience, qualifications, communication skills, career goals, and overall fit for the role.
- Prepare candidate endorsements and present qualified candidates to hiring managers or clients.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Candidate & Stakeholder Management
- Deliver a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement.
- Manage candidate expectations regarding hiring timelines, interview processes, and employment opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, role expectations, and hiring priorities.
- Provide market insights on talent availability, salary expectations, hiring trends, and recruitment challenges.
Recruitment Operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Track recruitment progress, hiring metrics, and pipeline activity to ensure recruitment targets and service level expectations are achieved.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with established recruitment processes, documentation standards, and data privacy guidelines.
- Prepare recruitment reports and updates as required.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed on technology hiring trends, emerging technical skill sets, and recruitment best practices.
- Contribute ideas to improve sourcing strategies, recruitment processes, and candidate engagement initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to continuously improve recruitment effectiveness.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in technical recruitment, IT recruitment, or technology talent acquisition.
- Experience recruiting for technical positions such as Software Development, Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, ERP, QA, or other IT-related roles.
- Hands-on experience using LinkedIn, Manatal (ATS), Foundit (formerly Monster), and other recruitment sourcing tools for candidate sourcing, pipeline management, and end-to-end recruitment activities.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and candidate lifecycle management.
- Excellent interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hiring managers and recruitment teams.
Preferred
- Experience working in a recruitment agency, executive search firm, or staffing environment.
- Knowledge of Boolean search techniques, talent mapping, and passive candidate sourcing strategies.
- Basic understanding of IT technologies, technical job functions, and current technology hiring trends.
- Experience working with recruitment KPIs, SLAs, and hiring metrics.
