Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage to detect any unusual or suspicious activities.
- Ensure all cameras and surveillance systems are functioning properly and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Install, configure, and perform preventive maintenance service (PMS) on CCTV systems.
- Provide basic technical support, including troubleshooting connectivity issues, software updates, and minor repairs on CCTV equipment.
- Provide basic technical support in computer hardware and software.
- Maintain a log of all incidents and observations for future reference.
- Coordinate with security personnel in case of emergencies or security breaches.Review and retrieve recorded footage for investigations when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations regarding surveillance.
- Assist in maintaining data confidentiality and preventing unauthorized access to surveillance records.
- Provide reports and recommendations for improving security measures.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (any course required) Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred
- At least 1–2 years of experience in CCTV monitoring, security operations, or related field is an advantage
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or retail security is preferred
Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- High level of focus and ability to monitor screens for long periods
- Basic knowledge of security protocols and incident reporting
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to remain calm and alert in critical situations
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and responsibility
- Basic computer literacy (CCTV systems, MS Office is an advantage)
- Team coordination skills with Security and Operations personnel
