2D Cut Out Animator

Job Title: 2D Cut-Out Animator (AI Animation)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST

We are looking for a talented 2D Cut-Out Animator to join our creative team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in traditional 2D cut-out animation and is excited to incorporate AI-powered animation tools into their workflow. While AI will be used for portions of the animation process, Toon Boom experience is required for animating one of our primary characters.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D cut-out animations for characters and scenes.
• Animate a primary character using Toon Boom .
• Utilize AI animation tools to improve workflow and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with designers, illustrators, and the creative team to bring storyboards and concepts to life.
• Refine animations based on feedback while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Ensure animations align with the project's visual style and storytelling goals.
• Meet project deadlines while managing multiple animation tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 2D Cut-Out Animator .
• Strong proficiency in Toon Boom (Harmony preferred).
• Experience or willingness to work with AI animation tools and workflows.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, character rigging, timing, and movement.
• Ability to interpret storyboards and creative direction.
• Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Reliable computer and internet connection.
• Ability to work full-time during 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST .
