- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems, devices, and machinery.
- Analyze project requirements and create technical plans, blueprints, and models.
- Conduct research to identify solutions for engineering challenges and improve system performance.
- Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
- Perform simulations, calculations, and stress tests to evaluate mechanical performance.
- Maintain and improve existing mechanical systems for efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers.
- Ensure all designs comply with safety standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Professional engineering (PE) license or equivalent (preferred).
- Proven experience in mechanical design, development, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of materials science, thermodynamics, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
