Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in finance, accounting, and manufacturing operations.

• With 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory and managerial leadership roles within finance and accounting departments.

• Strong background in manufacturing accounting, preferably within the Food & Beverage industry, with expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and production financial analysis.

• Highly experienced in managing end-to-end accounting operations including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, fixed assets, treasury, and financial reporting.

• Proven expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements including Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Extensive knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, taxation, statutory reporting, and compliance with SEC and government regulatory requirements.

• Skilled in manufacturing cost accounting including product costing, Bill of Materials (BOM) review, inventory valuation, production variance analysis, and cost control implementation.

• Experienced in budgeting, financial planning, working capital management, cash flow forecasting, and financial performance analysis to support operational and strategic business decisions.

• Proficient in ERP and accounting systems such as NetSuite, Zoho, and similar enterprise platforms, with advanced Excel and financial reporting capabilities.

• Strong background in internal controls, audit coordination, fraud prevention, risk management, and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

• Proven leadership experience in supervising accounting teams, conducting staff training, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex financial operations in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

• Demonstrates high level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and strategic thinking in handling financial management and organizational planning.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the overall operations of the Finance and Accounting Department including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, treasury, and fixed assets management.

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes, financial reporting, and compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Reports, and management financial reports.

• Lead manufacturing and cost accounting activities including product costing, inventory valuation, production variance analysis, and cost control monitoring.

• Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods inventory, and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.

• Review and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM), costing structures, and pricing analysis to support profitability and operational decision-making.

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and financial planning activities while analyzing actual versus budget performance.

• Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to Operations, Sales, and Management teams to support business growth and profitability.

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of BIR tax requirements including VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, and other statutory obligations.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies regarding audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and working capital to ensure healthy financial operations and liquidity management.

• Establish and strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and risk management systems to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff while providing training on accounting systems, financial procedures, and operational compliance.

• Improve ERP and accounting system processes, automate financial reporting procedures, and recommend workflow improvements for operational efficiency.

• Support digital transformation initiatives and continuous process improvement projects within the finance and accounting function.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and ethical financial management practices.

• Perform other finance, accounting, and management functions as assigned by senior management.
