Software Engineer, Product

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of high-quality software projects and coordinate with teammates and stakeholders to meet agreed timelines.
• Contribute across product development, including specification, implementation, code review, QA testing, deployment, and operations.
• Build intuitive and sophisticated user experiences for all phases of the private markets investment process.
• Seek context, iterate rapidly, eliminate ambiguity, and drive projects forward.
• Participate in engineering recruiting through interviewing, problem specification, and role ownership.
• Communicate with product partners, teammates, managers, and other stakeholders to unblock progress.

Requirements

• A four-year technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating that a degree was not needed.
• At least five years of hands-on software development experience with a strong emphasis on individual contribution.
• Proficiency in modern TypeScript and React, with familiarity with Python, REST APIs, and AWS.
• Strong understanding of frontend tradeoffs including state management, rendering performance, and component architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining design systems and reusable styled component libraries at scale.
• Strong testing practices using tools such as Jest, Vitest, or Playwright.
• Ability to execute independently, operate effectively in ambiguity, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Background or interest in investment management, fintech, or financial data is preferred but not required.
• Authorization to work for any U.S. employer without current or future sponsorship.
