ERP Support Analyst

Role Purpose

The ERP Support Analyst is responsible for the effective support and ongoing operation of BG&E’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment, with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365. The role operates within BG&E and, in the near future, SYSTRA ANZ, contributing to a cohesive and service-focused support model.

The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the reliability, usability, and continuous optimisation of the ERP platform. This is achieved by providing high-quality operational support to business users while ensuring alignment with SYSTRA Group standards, governance frameworks, and strategic objectives.

Duties

• Provide day-to-day functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 users,
• Act as a trusted point of contact for ERP-related queries, incidents, and service requests
• Investigate, analyse, and resolve system issues, escalating where required in line with support processes,
• Support system enhancements, minor configuration changes, and continuous improvement initiatives,
• Assist with user access, security roles, and licencing administration in line with BG&E and SYSTRA Group governance,
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into effective system outcomes,
• Maintain accurate system documentation, user guides and support materials,
• Liaise with internal IT teams, external vendors, and SYSTRA ANZ stakeholders as required,
• Contribute positively to team culture by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and promoting best practice,
• Undertake other duties as reasonably assigned by the Business Analyst, Finance Applications Support Analyst, Head of Program Delivery, or Group Finance Manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience providing support for ERP systems, with a preference for Microsoft Dynamics 365, including Project Operations and/or Finance and Operations,
• Sound understanding of ERP-enabled business processes, including finance, project delivery, procurement, supply chain and human resources,
• Experience operating within structured ICT support or service delivery environments, following established processes and controls,
• Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy,
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions,
• Proven ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels of the organisation,
• Ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team environment, with the capacity to prioritise and manage competing workloads,
• Experience supporting system testing, upgrades, releases, or go-live activities will be highly regarded,
• Clear and professional communication skills, with a strong focus on documentation, knowledge sharing and process adherence,
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity, professionalism, and the maintenance of confidentiality.

Work Arrangement  

FT in the office for the first few months 

transit to 3 days/wk onsite and 2 days/wk working from home
