Lead Accountant (US Accounting)

This role is remote and open to only to the Philippines working in EST, CST or PST

We're looking for a Lead Accountant (US Accounting) who will run the daily and monthly financial processes that keep our company organized. What you'll own

Cash and forecasting

• Report the daily cash position so leadership always knows where things stand.

• Run the rolling 13-week cash forecast.

• Build the rolling financial forecast and keep it current every month.

Revenue, collections, and spend

• Track revenue and cash inputs from commercial activity.

• Own AR and collections, so nothing sits unpaid without a reason.

• Review expenses and spending commitments before they become surprises.

• Approve and control the payment list.

Close and reporting

• Run month end close and close the books on time, every time.

• Put together the monthly management reporting package.

• Run variance review, explaining what moved against budget and forecast and why.

People, metrics, and compliance

• Review headcount and payroll monthly.

• Report MRR, ARR, and retention metrics.

• Own the tax and filing compliance calendar, so nothing gets missed.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of accounting experience working directly for US based companies .

• Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP . (A CPA license is a bonus)

• Comfortable in QuickBooks and similar tools.

• Experience with Ramp, Stripe, or HubSpot is a plus.

• Hands on experience building or using AI tools in your accounting work. Tell us what you've built.

• Able to work EST or PST hours

Location: Remote, Philippines
Compensation: $18 - $25 USD per hour
Benefits: 15 days PTO. Christmas Day and New Year's Day paid off.
