A Gym Instructor provides guidance, support, and motivation to individuals or groups to help them achieve their fitness goals, ensuring safety and proper technique during exercises.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in developing and following personalized fitness plans.
- Demonstrate proper use of gym equipment and correct exercise techniques.
- Monitor clients during workouts to ensure safety and proper form.
- Provide encouragement and motivation to clients to meet their fitness goals.
- Conduct group fitness classes or one-on-one training sessions as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of gym equipment and facilities.
- Educate clients on healthy lifestyle habits, including nutrition and exercise.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling sessions and maintaining client records.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred).
- Certification in fitness training (e.g., ACE, NASM, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a gym instructor or personal trainer.
