Environment Staff
Murata
Support the implementation and maintenance of the company's Environmental Management System (EMS) and environmental compliance programs.
Monitor environmental activities to ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and control of environmental records, permits, reports, and documentation.
Coordinate with waste service providers and support proper waste management and disposal activities.
Conduct environmental data collection, validation, and basic trend analysis for reporting purposes.
Support ISO 14001 EMS documentation, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on environmental-related concerns and requirements.
Participate in environmental monitoring activities and assist in the implementation of sustainability and pollution prevention programs.
Identify and report environmental issues, non-conformities, and opportunities for improvement.
Perform other environmental compliance and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field. Vocational graduates with relevant experience may also be considered.
Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in environmental compliance, waste management, manufacturing operations, monitoring, documentation, or related functions.
Basic knowledge of environmental regulations, permits, and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) standards and documentation.
Understanding of waste management practices and environmental monitoring processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and digital reporting tools.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Good communication and coordination skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to identify issues, perform basic problem-solving, and follow through on corrective actions.
Demonstrates accountability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous learning.
