Bachelor's Degree in any field; graduates of Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Technology, or related courses are an advantage.
0-3 years of relevant experience in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), or a related function.
Must possess a valid Safety Officer 2 (SO2) certification.
Basic knowledge of Pollution Control Officer (PCO) functions, environmental regulations, and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of workplace safety standards, risk assessment, and incident investigation is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation.
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Capable of working with cross-functional teams and promoting a positive safety culture.
The Safety Staff is responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's Environmental, Health, Safety, and Disaster Preparedness programs. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and customer standards while promoting a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and recommend monthly environmental, safety, and disaster preparedness programs that support company-wide objectives and departmental initiatives.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of workplace safety programs, environmental management systems, and emergency preparedness activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, customer standards, ISO standards, RBA requirements, and other regulatory obligations.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Support environmental compliance activities and assist in the implementation of Pollution Control programs.
Coordinate safety awareness campaigns, training programs, drills, and employee engagement activities.
Prepare reports, documentation, and compliance records required by regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with various departments to strengthen safety awareness and maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
