What You'll Do

Collateral Management Operations

• Execute and supervise daily collateral management activities accurately and on time.
• Calculate, communicate, negotiate, and agree on margin calls with counterparties.
• Administer collateral movements and maintain accurate records of collateral received and pledged.
• Ensure compliance with legal agreements including CSA, GMRA, and GMSLA documentation.

Dispute Resolution & Risk Management

• Investigate and resolve margin disputes through detailed analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Escalate unresolved disputes and settlement failures to specialist teams when required.
• Support credit risk mitigation through effective collateral management practices.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong working relationships with counterparties, risk managers, traders, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure efficient and accurate transaction processing.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for collateral-related inquiries and operational matters.

Process Improvement & Leadership

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and strengthen controls.
• Review and approve collateral movements and interest bookings completed by junior team members.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and training to colleagues within the team.
• Take on Circle Lead responsibilities and contribute to team initiatives as needed.
• Support reporting requirements and approved ad hoc projects.

Interest & Fee Administration

• Prepare and distribute monthly interest and fee statements.
• Calculate and negotiate applicable interest and fees on collateral positions.
• Ensure accurate booking and reconciliation of collateral-related transactions.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in:
  • Collateral Management
  • Financial Markets Operations
  • Credit Risk Management
  • Middle Office or Securities Operations

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of financial market instruments and products.
• Knowledge of collateralized transactions and related legal documentation including:
  • CSA (Credit Support Annex)
  • GMRA (Global Master Repurchase Agreement)
  • GMSLA (Global Master Securities Lending Agreement)
• Understanding of securities lifecycle, market practices, and risk management concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Experience using Bloomberg is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant professional certifications or specialized training are an advantage.
