Clinical Data Specialist

Responsibilities

• Organizing and structuring data from diverse medical records, including internal and external, physical and electronic documents—into standardized formats for research and clinical use.

• Constructing complete patient illness histories from disparate data sources, capturing all clinically significant events for reporting and operational purposes.

• Verify data for clinical trial patients, with strong proficiency in trial files, protocols, and navigation across clinical trial platforms (EDC, CRIO, etc.)

• Track and organize key clinical endpoints within patient records to support accurate reporting and analysis.

• Identify any inaccuracies between existing and new data and generate a report for inaccurate or missing data points.

• Manage, support, and quickly adapt to new healthcare platforms and medical systems.

• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of healthcare and medical data.

• Provide support for other medical data entry needs of other departments.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical background, Medical or Allied Health background ( e.g., Nursing, Medical Technology, or other healthcare-related courses ).

• Knowledgeable in medical terminology , with strong command of procedure and oncology notes, laboratory and imaging results, medications, and patient chart documentation.

• Prior experience in clinical trials as CRA and GCP certified – protocol review, data verification, scheduling, patient record management, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of audit-ready data, maintaining and updating data across systems and third-party platforms (e.g., CRIO, Medidata).

• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).

• 4 years of experience in healthcare or medical data management.

• Hands-on experience with at least three (3) Hospital Information Systems (HIS) .

• Ability to quickly learn, adjust, and navigate new hospitals or medical systems.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain strict medical data confidentiality.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting , data manipulation , and analysis .

• Salary: PHP 70, 000
• Work Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PHT
• Work Set-Up: Hybrid (2 onsite [Monday] every month; location: One Griffinstone, Filinvest City, Spectrum Midway, corner Commerce Ave, Philippines)
