- Clean and prepare furniture surfaces before polishing.
- Apply appropriate polishing products based on furniture type and finish.
- Buff and smooth surfaces to achieve a polished look.
- Inspect furniture for defects and recommend repairs if needed.
- Maintain tools and materials used for polishing.
- Follow safety guidelines and proper handling of chemicals.
- Ensure a high standard of quality in all finished pieces.
- Experience in furniture polishing or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of different wood types and finishes.
- Ability to use hand tools and polishing equipment effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and heavy furniture.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety regulations.
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
