Social Media Manager (IT)

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Information Technology sector to hire a Social Media Manager. This opportunity is based in BGC, Taguig, operating on a fully onsite work arrangement.

Position Overview

Manage and grow the organisation's social media presence through engaging content, performance analysis, and audience engagement initiatives.

Support e-commerce activities and online sales efforts while driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and digital marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Develop and execute social media content aligned with the company's brand and marketing objectives.
• Create social media materials, including graphics, captions, short-form videos, and other digital content.
• Write scripts and concepts for social media videos and campaigns.
• Edit photos, videos, reels, and other content for social media posting.
• Monitor social media engagement, reach, views, followers, and other relevant performance metrics.
• Analyze social media statistics and provide insights on content performance and audience engagement.
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform features, and content formats.
• Manage and update product listings and content across relevant e-commerce platforms.
• Support the company's online selling activities through platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, and other related platforms.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate product information, promotions, and content across social media and e-commerce channels.
• Monitor competitors, industry trends, and relevant social media activities.
• Assist in developing campaigns and strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and online sales.

Key Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication Arts, Advertising, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
• Preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or a related role.
• Candidates with junior-level experience may also be considered, depending on their overall skills, portfolio, and relevant experience.
• Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig City.

Technical / Functional Expertise

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Familiarity with social media analytics, insights, engagement metrics, and performance reporting.
• Experience in graphic design and content creation for social media.
• Knowledge of photo/video editing and short-form video content creation.
• Ability to write engaging social media captions, scripts, and other content.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, Facebook Marketplace, or similar platforms.
• Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CapCut, or similar design/editing tools.
• Social media scheduling and management tools.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing and online advertising.
• Content planning and social media calendar management.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce operations and product listing management.
• Ability to interpret social media analytics and translate data into actionable insights.
