Technical Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Basic understanding of electrical power systems and electrical distribution networks.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and technical specifications.
- Basic knowledge of diesel generator systems and backup power applications is an advantage.
- Familiarity with electrical load calculations and equipment selection principles.
- Basic knowledge of PEC, IEC, and electrical safety standards is an advantage.
- Software competencies: MS Office, AutoCAD.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
- Willingness to learn generator sizing, proposal preparation, load analysis, and tendering processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Review RFQs, bid documents, customer specifications, load schedules, and electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Assist in generator sizing calculations, load analysis, and equipment selection activities.
• Prepare technical proposals, compliance statements, deviation lists, and bills of materials (BOM).
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for technical documents and quotations.
• Assist in the review of vendor technical submissions against project requirements.
• Support the preparation of technical clarifications and responses to proposal queries.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Service, and Project teams to support tender and proposal activities.
• Review generator-related drawings and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and engineering procedures.
• Meet proposal submission schedules and support continuous improvement initiatives.
