- Explaining HMO or health insurance benefits
- Assisting clients with plan applications and renewals
- Helping clients understand coverage, hospital access, and claims
- Building relationships with individuals and companies
- Finding new clients through referrals and networking
- Providing customer support for healthcare concerns
Common qualifications:
- Good communication and sales skills
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Knowledge of healthcare or insurance is an advantage
- Goal-oriented and organized
- College graduate or college level depending on the company
