The Parking Cashier is responsible for collecting parking fees, issuing receipts, and ensuring accurate recording of all parking transactions. The role requires strong attention to detail, honesty, and excellent customer service skills to assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect parking payments and issue official receipts or tickets
- Accurately compute parking fees and handle cash transactions
- Maintain proper recording of daily collections and prepare end-of-shift reports
- Ensure the parking area policies and procedures are followed
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding parking rates and policies
- Report any discrepancies or operational issues to the supervisor
